ABOUT

The Wilson High School (WHS) Alumni Association GA Chapter (WHSAAGA), Incorporated, demonstrates its continued support and commitment to the development of WHS students and alumni through its ongoing contributions. As a 501(c)3 certified non-profit organization, WHSAAGA is dedicated to upholding the school's legacy of excellence in education, building character, promoting community involvement, and supporting both Wilson High School (WHS) in Florence, South Carolina, and its local alumni.  

During high school years, one of our alumni demonstrated remarkable creativity and the ability to think outside the box. With the guidance and support of his father and teachers, he was given the opportunity to attend college - an experience that opened doors to a promising future.    

That foundation not only shaped his personal success but also inspired him to give back. Today, he played a vital role in helping develop our 501(c)3, ensuring that future students at Wilson have the same opportunities to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. His journey is a powerful reminder of how mentorship, preseverance, and community support can create lasting impact for generations to come. 

Over the last year, we have solidified a strategic partnership with Savannah River Nuclear Solutions and the Independent Electrical Contractors to present over twenty-eight different apprenticeship programs, college opportunities, and workforce exposure for Wilson students. We have also provided WHSAAGA academic scholarships to deserving students, critical community closet items to students in need and provided mentoring to students in search of direction. 

For WHSAAGA to truly be a driving force for those we serve, we need your support. Together, we can expand opportunities, empower future leaders, and continue building a legacy of impact that uplifts the Wilson community. Your involvement - whether through time, resources, or advocacy - ensures that our mission not only thrives today but also inspires generations to come.
