Program Description: Educate student-athletes on the academic requirements needed to transition from high school to college successfully; encourage them to Explore valuable strategies to support their mental, physical, and nutritional well-being; and Ensure a successful balance between family, school, and careers in sports on and off the field.

  Program Objectives:

• To provide relevant information and accessible NCAA resources designed to enhance the knowledge and ability of student-athletes to succeed in the areas of academic Initial Eligibility Requirements.
• Discuss practical study techniques that will help maintain high performance in the classroom and on the field. Offer effective coping mechanisms that support mental health wellness as student-athletes navigate the stressful responsibilities of their young lives.
• To inform students of the current cultural sports trends related to collegiate scholarships (e.g., transfer portal, NIL) and the financial responsibility they should prepare for even if a scholarship is awarded.
