$2,000 Goal

Walton Foundation works with the disability community in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) to provide opportunities for active, independent lifestyles through adaptive sports, camp opportunities for youth and families, and home modifications.

Our Community is Our Passion!

We believe that we can work together to make our community accessible and welcoming for everyone regardless of disability. We are motivated to see consumers achieve personal goals and realized that not only are they an integral part of the community, but they add value to it. As we work with our passion, we are asking the community to BOLDLY BE A SPARK as we expand with our partners Walton Options for Independent Living.

Building and Expanding

Walton Foundation is excited to be in our new home at the Center for Disability Rights & Resources.  The vision of the new Center is to be known as the ultimate resource for those with disabilities, breaking the mold and challenging the current perception of what it means to be a BOLD invaluable part of society. The new Center for Disability Rights & Resources will provide accessible consumer meeting spaces and classrooms, expanded staff areas, and a communications lab as well as a multi-purpose room designed to MOVE and impact our community.

You can create a SPARK in the community and lives of those with disabilities.

We challenge you to Boldly BE a Supporter of the new Center for Disability Rights & Resources.

Being based at the new Center allows us to continue our work  in a variety of areas including:

  • Adaptive Sports opportunities to stay active and engaged.
  • Home modifications to keep them safely at home in their community.
  • Accessible Camp designed for youth with disabilities.
  • Community engagement opportunities
  • And much more!

We are here to spark the community towards positive change and full inclusion, as we boldly declare that every person, regardless of ability, deserves to take up space, to exist, and to BE. We are asking you to join us in this vision.  Your support this year for Giving Tuesday can make a BOLD Impact not only in the lives of our consumers as they travel on their personal journey of independence but also in the community.
