Visions of the Minds

Visions of the Minds, Incorporated (V.O.T.M) is a mentoring program that specializes in the educational and social advancement for at-risk youth living in low-income communities. The mission is to help Atlanta-metro area youth by engaging in a youth program that offers the opportunity to close the gap for young people who do not have the critical support in their communities. V.O.T.M provides quality enriched programs to youth that promote personal growth, guidance, and love for themselves and their community; which will to reduce and/or eliminate risk behaviors.

The overall goal of V.O.T.M as a community based nonprofit organization is to create positive, healthy, and consistent mentor/mentee relationships to promote healthy youth development.  This is done by giving back through volunteerism and encouraging children and families to choose a better prosocial relationship by improving self esteem, academic advancement, and peer relationships which should reduce violence, drug usage, and disorderly conduct. We truly believe that children as young as 5 have the ability to learn and adapt to positive community changes.
