Village Center for Culture and Character Inc

The Village Center for Culture & Character, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt Out-of-School and educational travel program dedicated to the mission of long-term empowerment and guidance of the young men and women in our communities in rising grades 1-8. Through our unique vision and focus on assisting the next generation of global leaders, Character Development as well as African & African  American history and culture will be utilized to instill in them the importance of self-knowledge and community as well as provide for them an outlet to experience various other cultures and environments.  In doing so, we hope to deter precursors to teenage pregnancy, gang-affiliation and other ills that negatively affect the young men and women in our communities. We feel that our providing opportunities to experience history and culture hands-on in an environment that is fun and educational will be extremely beneficial for them and for our communities.
