Atlanta-based Théâtre du Rêve (Theater of the Dream) is a professional theater company that brings French language and Francophone culture to life on the American stage. 

Théâtre du Rêve brings live theater, the French language and Francophone culture to audiences of all ages. With a team of highly professional bilingual theater artists, the company has performed classical and contemporary plays and company-created productions, playing to sold out houses since 1996.

We are committed to serving a wider audience because we feel strongly that Francophone theatre is not simply for French speakers. It is a strong artistic heritage shared and appreciated by all lovers of art. We have developed several innovations over the years to make our work more accessible, including English supertitles for our French-language productions, and our Salon Series events which are always in English.

Contribute to our 2025-26 Annual Fund this Georgia Gives Day to support our March 2026 world premiere production of Amina S. McIntyre's new play, Queen Bess, about legendary stunt pilot Bessie Coleman, the first Black woman of Native American descent to earn a pilot's license. More than 100 years later, her resourcefulness and accomplishments continue to challenge and inspire. Help us share her story and inspire audiences of all ages this spring!
