History:

Thirty-nine years ago, Atlanta-based entrepreneur Nathaniel Goldston assembled 18 friends and associates to share his vision of starting an Atlanta chapter of a new national organization, the 100 Black Men, focused on youth empowerment. 100 Black Men of Atlanta has since grown to become one of the largest and most active chapters with a membership of 300+ influential, dedicated, African-American men who dedicate their time, talent, and resources to giving back to their Atlanta community through our flagship youth development and mentoring program, Project Success.

Our Program:

The 100 has been providing mentoring and education support services to Atlanta's underserved youth through our flagship program Project Success since 1987. Project Success has been highly regarded for guiding underserved girls and boys toward post-secondary education as first-generation college students which sets them on pathways to productive lives.  We take a holistic approach with students that, in addition to academics, engages them in leadership development, economic empowerment, health and wellness, and civic engagement to maximize their chances of graduating from high school and attending a post-secondary institution.
