Sandy Springs Conservancy

A nonprofit organization

The mission of the Sandy Springs Conservancy is to create, conserve, and connect parks, trails and greenspace in Sandy Springs and surrounding areas.  Recreation areas and greenspace are important to quality of life, inspire health/wellness/tranquility, and provide enjoyment throughout our community for residents and visitors.

With the opening of Morgan Falls Overlook Park and Trails, the Conservancy, established in 2001, has provided educational, technical and financial support to create over 100 acres of parks throughout Sandy Springs. We are committed to working with public and private partners to expand Sandy Springs parks, greenspace, and trails in the future.

In 2021, we celebrated 20 years of planning, implementing, and establishing parks, trails and greenspace across Sandy Springs and working with neighboring communities. With your help our mission continues. Sandy Springs Conservancy facilitates projects that protect precious natural resources, encourage education while boosting green-oriented economic development and redevelopment across the city. The Conservancy leadership is continually seeking projects and opportunities to grow Sandy Springs into a greenspace destination for residents, professionals and visitors.

Sandy Springs Conservancy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable service organization.
