ABOUT US:

The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donor-supported organization. Programs and services are made possible through contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations.

Founded in 2006, we began in Atlanta by teaming up with the Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence at Grady Health System. Otis Brawley, MD, Danielle’s former oncologist and currently the Chief Medical and Scientific Officer for the American Cancer Society, introduced Eric and Danielle to the need to support lower income individuals with breast cancer at Grady. Our Metro Atlanta Angel Fund program at Grady has grown through the years. We are currently working to expand our services throughout the Metro Atlanta area.

At the same time we also started an assistance program in Danielle’s hometown, Munising (Alger County), in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Alger County Chemotherapy and Mammography Program (CHAMP) provides assistance in the form of grants to individuals undergoing treatment for breast and other types of cancer.

OUR MISSION:

The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation is dedicated to improving the survival rates of lower income breast cancer individuals undergoing treatment for breast cancer. We do this by providing financial grants for insurance co-pays; prescription costs; transportation to and from treatment; and basic living necessities such as rent, utilities and groceries.
