$5,000 Goal

Alif Institute is Atlanta’s Arab-American cultural center.  Established in 2004 as a secular, non-political, nonprofit organization, we believe in the transformative power of the Arts to gather and educate diverse communities around universal themes that positively influence us all.

Our doors are open to everyone who has an interest in Arabic cultures. We teach Arabic language and enrichment (art) courses (art, music, dabkeh, cooking, knit & stitch...), and host lectures and performances. Each year, we present the Atlanta Arab Festival, a vibrant, multi-dimensional event that attracts thousands of attendees and is the largest festival of its kind in Georgia. In 2019, we were able to reach over 10,000 people, keep Arab-American heritage alive, and reduce negative stereotypes.

Our Annual Gala supports Alif Institute’s mission and raises funds by bringing together prominent members of the Atlanta community to present an elegant, educational, and inspirational evening. Over 300 people will gather to celebrate Arab-American culture and contributions to society with the Arab-American High Achiever (AAHA) Awards. We hope that you will agree to give the Keynote Speech to highlight an issue that is important to the Arab-American community.

Very conservative estimates show over 80,000 Arab Americans live in Georgia. As the Arab-American community grows, Alif Institute’s impact becomes more and more significant. Together, we can make a greater impact on how the world sees Arab cultures and we can empower the next generation of Arab-American leaders.

We invite you to get to know us better. Please visit our website at www.alifinstitute.org.
