Support the mental wellness of Black boys.

Founder Wanda Jones with her son Ahmaud ArberyAhmaud Arbery was just like you and me. He loved his family, he was an avid runner, and he cared deeply about his community in Brunswick, Georgia.

Our work to honor Ahmaud’s legacy continues. We believe that Black boys, like Ahmaud, often lack resources and access to mental wellness. By aligning Ahmaud’s legacy with mental wellness in our communities, we can create brighter futures and opportunities.

Our vision is that we live in a world where all Black boys are safe and have access to resources to thrive and lead mentally healthy lives.

Our programs are designed to raise awareness, education, and advocacy for mental wellness for Black boys.

What is mental wellness?

Mental wellness is a positive state of mental health. It is more than the absence of mental illness. Being mentally well means that your mind is functioning in your best interest. You are able to think, feel and act in ways that create a positive impact on your physical and social well-being.

What your gift supports

The Ahmaud Arbery Foundation is here to support Black boys on their journey towards mental wellness. We are currently raising funds to support our mental wellness resource library and Circle support groups for Black boys.
