Inequality in healthcare is a harsh reality that many in the medical industrial complex (MIC) don't seem to be phased by.

T3 Helps, Inc. recognizes that many black women are not afforded the opportunity of having a doula support them. Many black birthing persons are dying from preventable childbirth complications and usually because there is no one there to help them use their voices in the birthing space. 

T3 Helps, Inc. believes that black birthing persons deserve better medical treatment in general but especially when it comes to childbirth and postpartum recovery. Putting an end to preventable complications and death of black birthing persons involves the presence and participation of birth workers such as a doula in addition to having a midwife and/or obstetrician.

The A Giving Heart Doula Fund was created to help black birthing persons, regardless of their choice of family style, age or socio-economic status, the support that they need to have a stress free, trauma free and happy pregnancy, labor and birth experience by allowing access to low cost doula services. If you desire a doula, you should have one!

The A Giving Heart Doula Fund connects black doulas nationwide. The mission of The A Giving Heart Doula Fund is to help fight the black maternal mortality rate in this country through educational development and empowerment.

We've also created Le Petit Marché (The Little Market in French) to allow families in need of baby items to come and get what they need at no cost to them. We would like to maintain the dignity in giving by allowing them to have a full shopping experience instead receiving items in a box or garbage bag. Though they are in need, we still want to treat them as the humans they are and extend basic courtesies during the giving process.
