Thank you for visiting our #GaGives page!
This giving season, as a Fuel for Good Ally, your generosity can go twice as far thanks to Gas South, who will match donations $1 for $1 up to $10,000. Help us double the impact of your gift and open doors to unlimited possibilities for our Georgia neighbors!
Founded in 1903 by a group of concerned parishioners in Atlanta, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP Georgia) has grown over the past 120 plus years to become the oldest, largest and most trusted statewide social services safety net organization in Georgia. SVdP Georgia operates a main service center in Chamblee with a full-time staff providing programs and services for neighbors in need and 73 local service hubs across the state staffed by 3,000+ trained volunteer caseworkers who make SVdP Georgia’s critically needed – yet otherwise unavailable – programs and services available and accessible to those most in need of them.
For more than 120 years, St. Vincent de Paul Georgia (SVdP Georgia) has been a beacon of compassion and action - planting seeds of hope across communities from Blairsville to Brunswick. With a renewed mission to serve our neighbors with love and respect: delivering help, hope, and pathways to self-sufficiency, we continue to build a Georgia where all can thrive.
SVdP Georgia focuses on feeding, clothing, housing, and healing meeting our neighbors where they are while removing barriers to long-term success. Our programs include the SVdP Georgia Community Pharmacy, offering free prescription medications statewide; financial and housing assistance that prevent eviction and help neighbors transition into stable housing; our 40+ Client-Choice Food Pantries feeding 93,000+ households a year; and education programs that equip families to break cycles of poverty.
We also operate nine Thrift Stores and an eBay Store (Vinny’s Thrift & Collectibles) - each one turning everyday purchases into life-changing assistance. A $50 purchase can keep the heat on, put meals on a table, or help a parent get the medicine they need. Every dollar stays local and helps neighbors right where they live.
