State Charter Schools Foundation of Georgia Inc

The State Charter Schools Foundation of Georgia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation dedicated to supporting high quality state charter schools serving children throughout Georgia by leveraging resources to help schools launch, build capacity, and grow.

Through strategic investments in state charter schools, the Foundation will improve access to excellent education; expand educational opportunities; and increase educational attainment for the citizens of Georgia.

More than 33,000 students attend state charter schools throughout Georgia! Charter schools are public schools that offer innovative educational approaches. Like all public schools, charter schools are tuition-free and open to all students in their attendance area. State charter schools are their own, single-school public school districts and do not receive local funds. This allows our schools the flexibility to be responsive to the needs of their students and communities. However, since they typically receive less funding than traditional public schools and face higher facility expenses, they need our help!
