The Chastain School at St. John

St. John Children's Center, now known as The Chastain School at St. John (TCS@SJ), is a ministry of St. John United Methodist Church. TCS@SJ is a year-round, full day program for young children from 8 weeks to 5 years old. In addition to this program, we also offer after school programs and summer camps for elementary school children. We have created an environment of Christian love and commit ourselves to helping children grow in many ways by providing a warm, stimulating, and safe learning environment. 

The school is both certified by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Quality Rated by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) Bright from the Start program. Families attending find in The Chastain School the confidence that their child is receiving the highest quality start on their education and social development, and through its ministry at the school that St. John United Methodist Church can meet the spiritual needs of their whole family if they are looking for a church home.
