OUR MISSION:

Solutions Not Punishment Collaborative (SnapCo.) is a black trans and queer led membership based organization that invests in our collective safety, leadership, and political power. 

OUR VISION:

We envision a vibrant, radically inclusive Metro Atlanta where all our people are safe, free, and have the opportunity to live and thrive as their authentic selves.

We will end the mass crisis of criminalization and gender based violence against our communities. We lead from a black trans feminist framework and envision a vibrant, radically inclusive metro atlanta where all of our people are safe and free, have the opportunity to live and thrive as their authentic selves.

OUR WORK: 

As a Black Trans and Queer-led organization, all the work that we do is to support and empower marginalized communities. We build safety within our community by supporting individuals with our Taking Care of Our Own fund, invest in our collective embodied leadership by facilitating the Snap4Freedom School providing Black and Brown LGBTQ+ identified people the opportunity to develop skills as community organizers to bring about impactful change, and build political power by developing a base of members to design and implement campaigns to create informed policy alternatives. We serve historically marginalized communities, centering Black Trans and Queer identified people, and aim to eliminate the economic barriers of transportation to and from the clinic for those that would otherwise not be able to travel to the clinic.
