For many young women, the prospect of pregnancy can bring a range of emotions. Whether one feels excitement, confusion, or fear, every woman deserves to have all the needed information to make informed decisions regarding her next steps. By providing information, encouragement, practical help, and counsel, Skylark seeks to join women on their journey as they sort through the emotions, pressures, anxieties, and fear that can accompany the news of an unexpected pregnancy.

Serving Southeast Georgia since 1992, Skylark is committed to serve any woman in an unanticipated, stressful pregnancy regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, national origin, or marital status.  Our team of staff and volunteers are dedicated to discovering the unique situation of every client we serve and offer support and community referrals to help meet their unique needs. 

Because of the generous support of donors, Skylark offers the following services at no cost:

• medical-grade pregnancy testing
• pregnancy options consultation
• limited obstetrical ultrasounds 
• STD/STI testing and treatment
• parenting and life skills education program
• material support of baby and maternity items
• post-abortion support and counseling

Skylark, a locally organized and funded nonprofit ministry, is governed by a local board of directors and managed by a director who carries out the activities of Skylark through a staff of volunteers.
