The Playscape: Let's make it even better!
Since it opened in the spring of 2021, the Nature Playscape has quickly become one of the most beloved and utilized features at Sandy Creek Nature Center. Children can be seen clambering over the rocks, jumping across the stumps, crawling through the tunnel and enjoying nature in every sort of way from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
But, we can't help but think it could be ever better!
Our imagination is limited only by our funds, that is why your donation this month is so important!
This year's Giving Tuesday donations will be earmarked to add some features to the playscape that we missed in the original construction: musical-themed elements, nature investigation tables, construction materials for building and perhaps even a fairy house station!
