Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue

Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue believes education and understanding about the interconnectedness between humans and animals is important to building happy, healthy, pet-friendly homes and communities. We rescue adoptable animals from euthanasia, connect abandoned animals with loving families, instill respect for animals through education and promote quality of life through animal companionship.

Based in Douglas County Georgia, Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue is a fully volunteer nonprofit that rescues abused, injured, neglected and unwanted cats and kittens from local animal shelters, most of them from “Death Row.” 

Since 2015, PPCR has rescued and adopted out over 5,200 kitties that faced euthanasia. Last year alone, we adopted out over five hundred forty felines as well as relocated/rehabilitated many feral and special needs cats & kittens.

Our mission is to ensure the  humane treatment of all animals by reducing the number of healthy animals killed in Georgia shelters by implementing successful adoption programs, aggressive spay/neuter programs and by promoting responsible pet ownership and humane education.
