The Daily Program

Our daily program focuses on the abilities of the individual to identify and increase current strengths, explore new interests, and develop new skills. We emphasize lifelong learning and work to develop job skills, life skills, and utilize community-based experiences. We also encourage health and wellness by providing instruction on good nutrition and benefits of daily exercise.

Job site training is offered and the jobs are tailored to the skills and abilities of each individual. Job site training provides job fulfillment and a sense of accomplishment for all participants. We work with many local and national companies. Job Site opportunities include assembly, packaging, sorting, collating, organizing, stocking, interaction with senior citizens, event preparation and more.

Through regularly scheduled events in the community, and by having the community regularly visit, interact and shop at PRISM, we focus on all the many teachable moments we encounter to strengthen socially appropriate interactions with all members of our community. It doesn’t take long for members of our community to see that everyone has something to offer!

PRISM is an approved agency providing services authorized by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA).

The GVRA program provides customized training in the areas of:

• Personal and social interpersonal skill development
• Job readiness training
• Job coaching
• Work evaluations
• Job search
• Supported employment
• Customized employment
