Physicians' Care Clinic

Physicians' Care Clinic provides low-income, uninsured adults who reside in DeKalb County with access to quality, comprehensive medical care.  We are the oldest and largest volunteer-led medical clinic serving the county, founded by the DeKalb Medical Society in 1993.  We make a profound difference in people's lives, and deliver medical care with excellence, compassion and dignity.  Nearly 250 medical professionals -- physicians, nurses, laboratory technicians, and pharmacists -- volunteer to deliver medical care and medications to our patients.  PCC provides primary health care, chronic disease management, diagnostic testing (imaging and laboratory), medications, health education and disease prevention, home health monitoring supplies and specialty medical care when needed.  All services are offered at no charge to our patients.  People with low incomes who are uninsured delay needed medical care, increasing the risk of complications and disease progression.   Through a network of relationships and partnerships in the medical community PCC is able to provide our 1,376 enrolled patients with the care they need.   Services are funded by in-kind contributions from our partners, foundation grants, and donations from individuals.
