$35,000 Goal

This Giving Tuesday, the PBPA Board of Directors is matching every gift, dollar for dollar, up to $35,000! AND, a generous donor is matching the gifts of the first 20 new members to our Happy Perkins Society, a group of individuals giving $1000+ annually to PBPA.  There's never been a better time to show your support with a gift of any size.

PBPA was formed to strengthen communities in the Greater Atlanta area by strengthening the organizations that serve them. Today, PBPA works with nonprofits by offering them free legal advice and education, leveraging the skills and experience of Atlanta-based volunteer attorneys.  Often, nonprofits operate without legal counsel because they lack the funds to pay a lawyer or the connections to find pro bono assistance. The failure to address legal compliance can eventually lead to expensive and time-consuming issues that hinder a nonprofit's work in the community. With PBPA, nonprofit organizations have access to the same high-quality and specialized legal services as private companies without having to divert funding away from their missions.

PBPA's nonprofit clients all serve underrepresented and disadvantaged communities. Last year, PBPA served 297 nonprofits and placed 1067 legal matters, providing an estimated $4.5M in free legal services to the local nonprofit community.
