Paulding Child Advocacy Center’s mission is: 1) to provide a safe and neutral setting to evaluate a child who may have been abused; 2) to encourage the collaboration of social and legal agencies for the benefit of the child; 3) and, to at all times lessen the trauma suffered by the child. At the request of law enforcement and the Division of Family and Children Services, we primarily interview victims of child sexual abuse, but also address severe physical abuse as well as witness to violence, kidnapping, survivors of homicide, and other major crimes where children may be affected.

We have grown from a small satellite center that opened in 2004 providing only forensic services to becoming an independent center in 2017 that offers forensic services along with more comprehensive advocacy services AND free therapy for child victims! We have provided services to more than 3,000 children and their families! We also offer training opportunities for grown-ups to learn more about how to recognize, react, and respond to child abuse (Stewards of Children program).

Congressional changes are affecting federal spending that trickles down to centers such as ours. We have recently learned of the cuts that will directly affect our center in the coming months, thus impacting the services we provide children.

Paulding CAC also accepts in-kind donations of office supplies, snacks and drinks for the children and their families while visiting the center, and comfort items for children (such as blankets and stuffed animals). Email us at info@pauldingcac.org for more information about in-kind giving or visit our website at www.pauldingcac.org to learn more about our center.

Thank you so much for your support!
