...But we need YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT!
Whether owning or renting, property in Cabbagetown is neither cheap nor plentiful, and The Patch Works needs to be ready to move quickly when a decision is made.
For the past few years, Executive Director Jacob Elsas and Curator Nina Elsas have researched the options, hired an architect, brought on board a realtor, and designed a robust Business Plan that will not only set The Patch Works on a path to great success but will ensure that it will be a pioneer in community-based art and history centers.
There has never been anything like us...
We Focus on Collaboration.

The Board of Directors:
We do not work to compete. We work to UPLIFT.
The Patch Works... WORKS! With and for others!
Preservation Succeeds Only if People Know Their History
The Patch Works Art & History Center strongly believes that preservation must start at the local level. Communities must take action to keep their stories alive.
We Need Community-Based Museums Across Atlanta.
When enough localized museums are developed, they can tell the city's broader story by connecting as an educational network. And The Patch Works will assist any neighborhood that wishes to make this happen.
For more information on the projects currently in development, please feel free to contact us at The Patch Works!
The Patch Works Art & History Center is a US 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization and a 509(a)(2) Public Charity. Donors can deduct contributions made to The Patch Works under IRC Section 170.
