Pass the Plate

At Pass The Plate ATL Inc., we work to be a resource in the community to provide meals, clothes, toiletry items, and supplies to single parents, students, and the homeless population around Atlanta, Georgia. Last year, PTP was able to distribute over 1,000 meals and almost 700 toiletry and clothing items to those in need. This year, our goal is to double our numbers and make maximum impact to also those affected financially by the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

Before the Pandemic, the city of Atlanta had over 7,000 people who were deemed homeless, and almost a third of them were living on the streets. 3,300 are unaccompanied or displaced youth and young adults that are the age of 25 or younger. The others are in and out of temporary housing units. After the Pandemic, numbers have increased for the basic necessities of those in need and many families in Atlanta. PTP intends on raising funds to go directly back into the community by providing meals and supplies to families and youths located in Downtown Atlanta to continue our mission to aid the community where there is a need by using food as a way to bring people closer together to spread love & support in our to build a better community.
