Preparing and Nurturing Education and Learning (PANEL, Inc.) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2003, by African American women located in Griffin, Georgia. The purpose of PANEL Inc. is to fund educational opportunities as well as provide support for the communities within the service area.
Our mission is to collaborate with community organizations and partners to provide educational activities and opportunities for students and school in Griffin, GA and surrounding areas.
Community projects supported by PANEL, Inc. include, but not limited to the following:
Ivy Life Line: A perpetual fund established to support students and families at Susie B. Atkinson Elementary School in Griffin, GA.
College Scholarships: Annually the chapter supports area high school and college students with scholarships. In 2024, over $24,000 was distributed to area scholars.
Cheryl R. Walker Fine Arts Award: Given annual to students to assist with fine tuning their skills in Fine Arts.
Support for Youth and Educational Programs at the Fairmont Community Center in Griffin, GA.
Support for elementary students weekend backpack program.
Funding and support for food insecurity and assistance programs within the community.
