Painted Pink, Inc.

Painted Pink, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to educating every millennial on breast health. Additionally, we provide support resources to Breast Cancer Warriors going through chemo through our partnerships with Atlanta Breast Care at Piedmont Hospital, Grady Health, Breast Body Beauty & Emory Winship Cancer Institute. Furthermore, we encourage others to take action by doing monthly checks, understanding their breasts and living a healthy, clean and purposely pink lifestyle.

Our board is comprised of five educated and highly motivated Black women with various backgrounds; each who possess unique talents and are devoted to utilizing her skillsets to provide actionable resources and support for the greater good of our community.

Initiatives:

Purposely Pink Programs: events centered around clean and natural beauty and hair tips/ educating on the importance of knowing what we are putting on our bodies. Fitness and health events. Cooking demonstration events to learn what clean food we can eat.

ShowerHer campaign: baby showers for women who are undergoing breast cancer and are pregnant. We buy goods from their registry and throw them a baby shower.

Painted Pink Care Kits: We put together care packages filled with hypoallergenic items, motivational items, and items to alleviate discomfort from chemo. We gift these to millennial women at local hospitals the first day they start chemo.

Our signature event, The Annual Breast Cancer Bruncheon, is a celebration, aspiring to educate millennials on breast cancer through inspiration while honoring survivors, caretakers and their supporters. Held every October, the event has attracted hundreds of young adults and charged them to live purposely pink by knowing their genetic history, live healthier lifestyles and celebrate the lives of our breast cancer warriors. We partner with natural and/or clean beauty brands, such a TGIN. Proceeds are used to provide survivor kits to the patients of our partners, Atlanta Breast Care at Piedmont Hospital, Grady Health, Breast Body Beauty & Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
