Our Turn ATL

Our Turn mobilizes, amplifies, and elevates the voices of students, particularly BIPOC students, in the fight for education equity. The lived experiences of young people are a powerful lens through which we can view the problems within the education system and generate solutions. Following the lead of students, we work with them to identify issues they face in their K-12 experience, build issue campaigns around their solutions, and support them as they advocate with their community. For education to truly be a pathway upward and outward, for BIPOC youth especially, we must confront and repair the root causes of our nation’s systemic education inequities.
