Help Atlanta Families Find Their Way Home This Season of Giving – Now Through December 2nd!

Help Our House raise $60,000 to help Atlanta families experiencing or at risk of homelessness build brighter, more stable futures.

Every night, hundreds of parents and children face homelessness in Atlanta, desperately searching for warmth and safety outside, with nothing but the clothes on their back and the hollow ache for home in their belly. This November, in support of the National Week of Hunger and Homelessness, we’re rallying our community to change that!

A recent one-night count found nearly 2,900 people experiencing homelessness in the city of Atlanta, representing a 7% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, the number of families without stable housing surged 14%, underscoring the growing crisis facing parents and children. Rising housing costs, job loss, or medical bills can push a family into crisis in an instant. Many of the families we see are actively working and doing everything they can to support their families, but a host of barriers keep them from attaining stability.

At Our House, we help families move from crisis to stability through a holistic network of programs designed to directly address those barriers. Our long-term shelter, early childhood education, comprehensive healthcare, employment programs, and family transition team are offered at no cost to our clients but empower them for a lifetime.

Last year alone, we helped more than 2,300 parents and children take meaningful steps toward independence, with more than 90% of the families we support finding lasting self-sufficiency once they leave Our House. But the need continues to grow, and with shrinking federal support, your help is more crucial than ever.

This Season of Giving, we’re engaging our community to help raise $60,000 to support Our House’s programs and resources and ensure their continued availability for families across Greater Atlanta.
