Since our founding in 1971, OnStage Atlanta has been producing compelling theatre in Atlanta. OnStage Atlanta remains one of the few permanent professional ensembles dedicated to producing the most vibrant theatrical experience in Atlanta.
OnStage Atlanta is first and foremost about communicating with our community through the theatrical art of storytelling. Be it a drama, comedy, musical, or children's show, we believe in the power of live theatre to entertain and inform, to break down barriers, and to communicate unlike any other art form.
By hosting a permanent ensemble of actors, directors, writers, designers, and technicians, OnStage Atlanta looks to develop a consistent artistic voice that will foster individual and community growth both within the company itself and throughout the Atlanta community at large. This approach to theatre allows us to grow together with the community as we explore the myths and stories that entertain, inform, and transform our lives.
OnStage Atlanta will host workshops and seminars designed to inspire individual artists, teach aspiring actors, and give opportunities to those merely interested in trying something new; thereby enriching both the community and our theatre as we learn from each other.
