Over the past several decades, Odyssey has steadily grown and expanded its services, offering evidence-based, customized care for a wide range of behavioral health challenges. We have been dedicated to serving the metro Atlanta community since our agency's inception, over 50 years ago.

Changing lives every day... Today, Odyssey provides crucial services to nearly 2,200 children, adolescents, adults, and families who are struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Our clients come from communities that have historically been excluded from behavioral health services and are particularly vulnerable to health challenges. We firmly believe that everyone deserves access to behavioral healthcare that is sensitive to their unique needs and identities. 

To fulfill our vision of "Accessible Quality Behavioral Health Services for Our Community Delivered by Culturally Competent Mental Healthcare Professionals," Odyssey continues to engage in multiple partnerships to ensure that mental healthcare remains accessible, regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, or language.

While the conversation surrounding mental health has made significant strides, individuals severely affected by mental illness still need to see meaningful changes in all aspects of their daily lives. There is still much work to be done. Well-funded mental health support may seem further away than ever, and its impact is evident in many ways. Alarmingly, nearly half of the 60 million adults and children living with mental health conditions in the United States go without any treatment. Nevertheless, there is hope. For over half a century, Odyssey has been committed to pushing boundaries and improving mental health care. We have a bold vision for the future, and we are working tirelessly to turn it into a reality. Our mission to "improve the well-being of individuals and families by providing comprehensive behavioral health services" is only just beginning.
