Since 1942, the volunteer- and membership-supported Ocmulgee Mounds Association (OMA) has served as the official nonprofit partner of Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park, providing essential resources that strengthen the park’s cultural, educational, and interpretive programs, events, and exhibits.

OMA’s support ranges from cultural programming, interpretive visual aids, pottery demonstrations, and rack cards to funding signature events such as the annual Lantern Light Tours during Macon’s Cherry Blossom Festival and the Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration each September.

We are also honored to collaborate with Muscogee artists to showcase their work—both in our Visitor Center store and at the Ocmulgee Indigenous Celebration. Additional collaborative initiatives include the river cane restoration project, the park sign at the Emery Highway entrance, the Outdoor Classroom, and the onsite canoe build and permanent exhibit.

Our goal is to invest in projects that make a long-term, meaningful impact at Ocmulgee Mounds and with the Muscogee Creek Nation. We invite you to join us in this mission.

Your support makes a difference. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation through the Ocmulgee Mounds Association website. Every gift directly supports the programs and experiences that make Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park such a remarkable place.
