New American Pathways

We are facing a global refugee crises.  Right now, there are over 110 million people forcibly displaced worldwide.  35 million of these people are refugees.  

New American Pathways is answering the humanitarian call to welcome refugees to Georgia who are facing war and unrest in places like Afghanistan, Myanmar, Ukraine, Venezuela and the Middle East. This year our mission to help refugees and Georgia thrive has taken on a new urgency as New AP has welcomed a record 1500 refugees and humanitarian entrants and served thousands of refugees and immigrants who are already living here.  

 Thanks in large part to generous donors like you, this past year New American Pathways : 

• resettled 614 refugee arrivals from over 70 countries.
• helped 289 families from Afghanistan begin their journey to citizenship in the United States
• provided life-saving services and support to 555 displaced Ukrainians through the Uniting for Ukraine initiative.
• placed 243 people in jobs with a minimum wage of $16.00 per hour. 
• provided ESL at Home services to 155 families 
• submitted 278 citizenship applications - 98% of these clients were granted citizenship.
• registered 2,089 people to vote
• provided academic enrichment to 245 students in their Bright Futures After School program.
• provided 568 Parent School Liaison services
• provided 99 families  with early childhood learning support through its Parents as Teachers program.
• Supported 108 women through our Women’s Economic Empowerment program.

Your gift will be used to provide basic needs and other vital supports and services to those forced to flee their homes and families as they embark on their journey to becoming successful, contributing, and welcomed members of Georgia’s communities.
