Mount de Sales Academy, an independent Catholic school sponsored and inspired by the Sisters of Mercy, is a diverse college-preparatory community of learners—students and teachers alike—who are poised to discover, challenged to innovate, and motivated to serve.

Get ready —December 2nd is Giving Tuesday, and your Cavaliers need YOU!

This year’s ultimate showdown features two powerhouse teams:

Team Monty with Coach Freeman – Grades 8, 9, 11, and 12, plus Alumni from 1970–1999

Team Frankie with Coach Turner – Grades 6, 7, and 10, plus Alumni from 2000–2025

Two teams. One mission. All for the Cavaliers.

How to Play: We’re inviting parents, alumni, friends, and family to rally behind their child’s grade or their graduating class team. Friends and alums from before the Class of 1970 — you can choose any team to support! Every gift helps the Cavaliers.

Why Support Giving Tuesday at MDS? Each contribution helps us uphold the tradition of academic excellence while surrounding our students with the guidance, faith, and encouragement they need to thrive. From the classroom to the chapel to Cavalier Fields, your generosity fuels an environment where Cavaliers are challenged to grow, inspired to lead, and empowered to become the best version of themselves.

What’s at Stake: The team with the most money raised earns a Dress Down Day. The grade level who raises the most money wins a Chick-fil-A breakfast.

Which side are you on? Team Monty/Freeman or Team Frankie/Turner?

Everyone can participate! You can donate directly to Mount de Sales or to a particular class's fundraising campaign, even if you aren't alumni. Donations will be used for activities that are essential to the MDS experience and to form strong bonds between classmates.
