Motion Collective Dance Inc. is a nonprofit arts organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, committed to advancing Hip Hop dance and ballet while expanding access to high-quality arts education for young people from all backgrounds. We believe dance is a powerful catalyst for community connection, personal growth, and creative opportunity. Our mission is to ensure that emerging artists and youth have the resources, mentorship, and professional pathways necessary to thrive.

We offer year-round programming that blends rigorous technical training with strong community values. Through our signature initiative, Fuel the Motion: Training Ground, dancers receive instruction in Ballet, Hip Hop, modern, and contemporary disciplines, preparing them for collegiate study, professional work, and lifelong engagement in the arts. Our approach honors both the cultural foundations of Hip Hop and the classical technique of Ballet, ensuring each dancer develops versatility, discipline, and confidence.

Our outreach efforts bring accessible dance education directly into neighborhoods across Atlanta and beyond. We partner with community centers, schools, youth organizations, and other nonprofits to provide free and low-cost classes to students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to train. We intentionally cultivate inclusive spaces where every dancer feels seen, supported, and valued.

Motion Collective Dance also invests in creative workforce development. We commission original choreography, produce performance opportunities, and support artists with training, employment, and mentorship that propel long-term success in the arts. By strengthening the pipeline for dancers and teaching artists, we contribute to a more vibrant, equitable future for Atlanta’s dance ecosystem.
