The Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County (MGVOCC) supports the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service and strives to improve the quality of life in our community by delivering research – based horticultural information, educational programs and projects.  Shared values guide our actions.  We are:

• Dedicated to educating the community and supporting our schools with integrity, service-oriented volunteerism and a willingness to learn

Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who help homeowners, businesses and organizations engage in research-based horticultural practices.  Cobb County has more than 250 active volunteers that help maintain school, community and demonstration gardens.  We raise funds to help support our projects, activities and free educational programs.
