At Märchen Sagen Academy, we believe in the boundless potential of every child. As a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are a unique gem in Downtown Decatur, dedicated to inspiring kids locally and globally to explore their creative horizons through unbounded play and cutting-edge technology. Our daily mission is to nurture the next generation of storytellers and innovators by teaching them the magic, art, and science of video and audio production.

In our warm, nurturing environment, equipped with professional gear and guided by caring mentors, children learn to express themselves in powerful and transformative ways. • Continue producing fun, inspirational programming for kids worldwide.

• Arts and Crafts for scenes, props, and costumes.

We offer scholarships to families who need them, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and grow with us. Through funds raised by our afternoon enrichment and break camp program, we provide funding for staff, equipment, subscriptions, and transportation from local City of Decatur Schools.
