About

The Living Vine opened its door in 1996 as the only licensed maternity home in the state of Georgia. The Vine accepts women of all ages, race, and religion. We are a 501c3 nonprofit established to provide housing and programs for homeless pregnant women and their babies.

The Living Vine is a program—not a shelter—designed to guide women in crisis pregnancies through a journey of transformation. All resources are provided to residents at no cost, including housing, food, medical care, spiritual mentoring, counseling, life skills training, pre- and post-natal care, and workforce development. Mothers who choose to parent their child can remain in the program for up to two years, giving them time to rebuild, recover, and reimagine their future.

Participation in The Living Vine is a commitment. Residents are welcomed with the clear understanding that their role is to fully engage in the program and take ownership of their personal growth. Through individualized plans and consistent support, women are empowered to break cycles, build healthy foundations, and make choices that lead to generational impact—for themselves, their babies, and beyond.
