$2,500 Goal

Over the past eight years, LBC has built an incredible community of reuse enthusiasts, DIY champions, and a formidable corps of passionate volunteers. Together, we've invested 6.4 million pounds of material back into our community through reuse, while also extending $3.5 million in material cost savings to homeowners, small businesses and nonprofits.

Community participation and collaborative partnerships are what have made this impact possible. As we now face unprecedented challenges, LBC is focused on adjusting how we serve the community in a way that is safe, equitable and sustainable. The COVID-19 pandemic is requiring all of us to develop greater resilience in the face of so much change and our ability to adapt together will entail extraordinary ingenuity, collaboration and resolve.

With your support, LBC can:

  • Put usable materials back into our community instead of into landfills
  • Make home ownership and maintenance more affordable
  • Give more free building materials to area nonprofits
  • Create more job opportunities in deconstruction and reuse

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution this #GivingTuesdayNow to help LBC continue this important work.

Donations of $50-$99 will receive a limited edition LBC hat, and donations of $100+ will receive a limited edition LBC hat AND t-shirt!
