Let Your Life Shine Community Outreach Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization providing the direct needs of families at risk of hunger, homelessness, hopelessness, and illiteracy since 1981. Rose Noble-A. Nelson (founder & executive director) and Philbert C. Nelson (director), have a three-decade history of front line community service throughout the city of Atlanta, the state of Georgia and some other parts of the Southeastern United States. We travel to the communities delivering services throughout neighborhoods in locations of convenience and accessibility to those requiring the services.  We are stocked with brown bag lunches personal item care packages at all times for immediate, on the spot assistance.  Our organization assists homeless and senior clients through meal deliveries (organic/garden grown meals)  and on-site personal ministry.  Shelter & clothing services are available through year-round community clothes closets, food pantry and transitional housing.  LYLSCOM sponsors annual back to school drives and reading tutorials. LYLSCOM participates in the shoe box gifts for homeless mothers, fathers and children and sponsors annual Thanksgiving and Christmas toy and food baskets to families requiring this type of aid.  With collaborative support of LYLSCOM’s corporate partners,counseling sessions and crisis intervention are made available in the form of utilities and/or mortgage or rent emergency payments in order to prevent homelessness.  LYLSCOM’s monthly Dimensional  Women’s Fellowship workshops empower & enrich women for continued community & humanitarian services.  LYLSCOM's Dimensional Believers hopes to launch  "Locked-Up / Not Locked-Out", supporting women in the prison system.

Hundreds of men, women, boys and girls have been given HOPE that they are valued and that someone cares and respects them regardless of what station they are in on life’s journey.  We have been direct hands on since 2002 serving at least 100 meals monthly.  More than 20 thousand meals have been served.  Families have been stabilized due to the Family Emergency Crisis Assistance Program.  Since 2011, close to $80,000 have been paid out to families throughout 5 major metro Atlanta counties.   Seniors are given meaningful responsibility through our Volunteer Staff Recruitment Project.  YOUR CONTRIBUTION COUNTS & is Tax-Deductible…
