Support Local Pollinators! 

Keep Smyrna Beautiful's mission is to inspire our community to be clean, green, and beautiful. To do this, we concentrate on four focus areas: End Littering, Reduce Waste, Promote Recycling, and Beautify Smyrna.

This GA Gives Day, we’re inviting our community to support Smyrna's pollinators through Keep Smyrna Beautiful's newest program: Pollinator Pockets!

Pollinator Pockets are small, replicable gardens designed to support the lifecycle of native pollinators. Pollinators are critical to the health of our food systems, so we want to do all we can to help them thrive. 

1. Support the local ecosystem: From nectar and pollen access to overwintering solutions, each Pollinator Pocket serves as a sustainable ecosystem for a diverse range of wildlife and plant life. They will utilize native plants and be pesticide free. 
2. Fostering community and learning: Pollinator Pockets will become invaluable resource for enlightening both students and adults, where hands-on experiences will cultivate a deeper understanding of nature's wonders.
3. Enhance our home: As the gardens bloom, so will the appeal of our city, further elevating Smyrna as a place we are proud to call home.
