$10,000 Goal

Joy Community Kitchen exists to bring health and hope to people in need.  We do this by creating and distributing appetizing and nutritious food, using the same good fresh foods we serve our families and guests in our own homes.

Our focus is underserved populations in Gwinnett County, Georgia USA and beyond. Our highest priority is helping vulnerable senior citizens and their caregivers, by producing high-quality microwaveable frozen meals. When opportunity and resources allow, we also cook and serve fresh hot meals to clients of transitional housing, churches, street ministries, and other partner organizations.

We serve everyone.

We believe nutrition education is central to our mission, and partner with SNAP-Ed and other organizations to encourage our clients as they develop their own nutritional knowledge and skills. For 2023, in partnership with Amazon and Microsoft we will continue to offer STEAM classes for kids and IT skills training for adults at selected partner facilities.

We are a Georgia Department of Agriculture licensed manufacturer of frozen foods. Our production facility is licensed by the Georgia Department of Health.

We are committed to our work, and we hope you will join with us. Thank you!
