Jacobs Ladder Therapeutic Riding Center Inc

Jacobs' Ladder is a therapeutic horseback riding facility whose mission is to provide equine assisted activities to children & adults who have special needs. We are a Premier Center in PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) & have two PATH Certified Riding Instructors. Our volunteer staff & specially selected horses provide therapeutic riding in a safe & structured environment. 

We have been in operation since 1999 & have grown from 4 riders a week to approximately 70  riders each week. We see children during the school day from 13 schools & an additional group several days after school & on Saturdays.

Our mission also includes Active Duty Military & Veterans, who may need rehabilitative services. We are located 7 miles from Moody Air Force Base, so are very conveniently located for ease of accessibility.  One instructor is certified as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning, so we are able to work with an individual's mental health provider & provide a unique opportunity for healing, learning & growth.
