The I Am House Inc.

The I Am House is a Georgia-based nonprofit that supports women and children who have survived domestic abuse by providing safe housing resources, healing-centered programs, and practical support that helps families rebuild their lives. We mainly serve Metro Atlanta communities with a trauma-informed approach that meets survivors right where they are.

For many families, leaving an abusive situation is only the first step. That’s why our work goes beyond emergency response; we focus on stability, mental health support, life-skills development, economic independence, and creating a community that reminds survivors they are not alone. Whether it’s transitional housing support, crisis support, family resources, or empowerment programs, we exist to bring light, safety, and hope to women and children during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.
