House of Dawn, Inc.

House of Dawn Inc. (HoD) provides a safe and supportive home of pregnant teens, young mothers, and their babies so that they can become independent women and productive citizens. 

A transitional living program located in Clayton County, HoD serves young women, ages 13- 23 years old, who are in foster care or would be homeless without help.  Services provided include adult supervision, mental health and medical care, life coaches, and educational supports to complete school and achieve personal goals. 

Our priorities for your support at this time are:

1. Cover the cost of housing, maintenance, and utilities at our Second Chance Home, and our Independent Living apartments.
2. Meet the physical and mental health needs of our young mothers and babies.
3. Keep our pantries stocked with nutritious foods, fresh fruits, and vegetables for our young families;
4. Provide masks, gloves, and taking every pre-cautions to keep our families and staff safe and reduce the spread of the virus.
