Horizons Atlanta shares the same values and goals as Atlanta Technical College. Students that attend Horizons Atlanta at Atlanta Technical College will experience six weeks of hands-on community simulated classroom labs; that provide purpose in everyday foundational skills that will give that real life connection to learning. Through Project Based Learning, our students are provided opportunities to learn and grow academically as well as socially.

Our scholars work hard on developing their individual social advantages while learning the importance of working collaboratively. They develop the importance of being part of a social and academic system, while they gain a sense of personal responsibility towards their community.

Through field trips connected to lessons and activities learned in the classroom labs our students gain the full understanding and connection from classroom to community.
