Hand, Hoof and Heart

Our mission at Hand, Hoof, and Heart is to promote independence, self-growth, and a community connection through therapeutic, animal-assisted activities designed to improve cognitive, social, physical, and emotional functioning. Our programs are geared towards people of all ages within the special needs community and people struggling with anxiety and low self-esteem. 

Hand, Hoof and Heart encourages creativity and self-reflection. Our programs offer multiple opportunities for involvement for participants, volunteers, mentors, animal caregivers, and friends. When you first arrive, you might not know where you're headed, but when you're ready to leave you know exactly where you're going. The most special part of this program is its ability to help the wanderer find their path - we don't choose it for you, we just help you find the way to you.
