Huntley Hills Elementary PTA

Huntley Hills Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a parent led volunteer group that supports the school administration, teachers, students and parents with our time, talents and parental perspective. We work year-round planning and implementing programs and events to keep the Huntley Hills Community engaged and excited.

We do it all with the help of parent volunteers, students and the entire community. You're invited to join us!

Huntley Hills Elementary and Montessori School is a Title I Dekalb County Public School located in the growing Huntley Hills neighborhood of Chamblee. We provide quality educational programs for students of all backgrounds, interests, and abilities from Pre-3 and Pre-K through 5th Grade.

Title I is a federally funded program, which provides services to schools based on student economic need. Schools are ranked according to the percentage of students receiving free/reduced lunches. As a Title I school, HHES is proud to serve a diverse community of students including traditionally underserved populations such as immigrants and those with severe and profound special needs. 

Additionally, Huntley Hills Elementary is STEM Certified and offers a robust Gifted Program. Families can choose between a Traditional or Montessori Educational Track (through a free county lottery system) to uniquely serve various ways of learning. HHES is one of only two public schools in the state of Georgia offering a free Montessori education to students Pre-K through 5th grade.

As the region's home school for severe and profound special education, we are further equipped to support students with all levels of intellectual and physical abilities.

We currently provide services to over 450 students and open our doors to parents, teachers, and others in the community for various events throughout the entirety of the year.
