Heart 4 the People

Heart 4 the People, Inc (H4TP), a non-profit 501C 3 organization, was officially formed in the summer of 2020. The work and impact of Heart 4 the People began many years before with the committed work of just a few volunteers sharing love to the residents of DeKalb and Henry County. Volunteers taking time to talk with and empower the young people of the community to spending time sitting with seniors in living centers was the meager beginnings of Heart 4 the People.

Today, the organization has evolved into an entity that works to make a greater impact by expanding its services. With the focus on today’s youth, the mission of Heart 4 the People is to inspire, inform, and empower young people to be the change communities need to thrive. The services offered by Heart 4 the People, Inc include:

• Community Outreach

• Life Skills
• Safety 
• Future Building/ Small Groups 

What makes H4TP different from other nonprofit organization is its approach. The success and effectiveness of the youth directly reflects the success and effectiveness of our collective futures. By focusing on young people now, ensuring that they understand the importance of fiscal responsibility means they will grow into adults that will be smart with their money thereby strengthening the dollar in inner-city communities. Also, emphasizing community outreach and the importance of helping others, we sow healthy seeds in young people that will manifest into adults that see the need to show empathy and compassion to others.

We all can make a difference in our communities. H4TP chooses to make a difference in the lives of our youth. The children are truly our future!
