This Giving Tuesday, champion the voices of Black artists at the Hammonds House Museum.

Your support fuels our work preserving and celebrating the artistic brilliance of the African Diaspora—through powerful exhibitions, vibrant community gatherings, and educational programs that bring art to life. With your help, our permanent collection of 450 works and dynamic rotating exhibitions will continue inspiring connection and creativity for generations to come.

For decades, Hammonds House Museum has been a cultural cornerstone in Southwest Atlanta's historic West End—a beloved destination for our 400+ members and 4,000 annual visitors seeking authentic encounters with Black fine art. Housed in the former home of the late Dr. Otis Thrash Hammonds, our collection features masters including Carrie Mae Weems, Charles Nelson, Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence, and Elizabeth Catlett.

Our mission: To preserve, exhibit, interpret, and amplify public awareness of the transformative contributions visual artists of African descent have made to world culture.

Join us in keeping this legacy alive.
